WANNATE® IT-170B by Wanhua Chemical acts as a fast drying curing agent and hardener component for lightfast two-component polyurethane coatings. It is suitable for both air-drying & baking coating systems such as automotive OEM-, refinishing-, industrial- and plastic coatings. It is composed of 70% solid IPDI trimer diluted with various solvents, demonstrates exceptional physical drying characteristics.
  • It exhibits excellent weather- & chemical resistance and provides excellent gloss-, color retention, and excellent mechanical properties.
  • It shows good compatibility with resins, improving flexibility in formulations.
  • It can be thinned in polar solvents such as esters, ketones and ether esters, e.g. butyl acetate, methyl ethyl ketone and methoxypropylacetate, as well as in aromatics.
  • It offers low reactivity & prolonged pot life and excellent dilution stability.
  • WANNATE® IT-170B is normally mixed with WANNATE® HT series based on its high hardness.
  • It can be mixed with the following products such as aliphatic polyisocyanates such as WANNATETM® HT-100, HB-100, polyester polyols, aromatic polyisocyanates, polyacrylates and alkyd resins.
  • It is available in US, Canada, Europe and Mexico.
  • WANNATE® IT-170B works as an assistant resin in alkyd spray coating system for its high drying speed.
