VICTREX™ PEEK VICOTE™ 708 by Victrex is polyetheretherketone polymer-based powder. It can be used where higher temperature performance is required in formulation of liquid dispersions. It is a linear, aromatic, semi-crystalline thermoplastic in nature and exhibits flow above the melt temperature. It is available in average particle size of 10 micron. Provides excellent resistance to gamma radiation (>109 Rads) without embrittlement. Exhibits excellent properties like excellent wear, abrasion and cut through resistance at high temperatures (260°C). It offers hydrolysis resistance, strength, durability, excellent chemical and radiation resistance. VICTREX™ PEEK VICOTE™ 708 is inherently flame retardant and has low level of extractables. It complies with the compositional requirements of regulation 21 CFR 175.300 for resinous and polymeric coatings of the Food and Drug Administration (FDA).
