Pure methylmethacrylate polymer. ALTUGLAS® BS 572 is a solid spherical bead. It acts as a matting agent. It exhibits exceptional optical quality, outstanding weather resistance, large range of solubility, very good compatibility with other thermoplastics and low residual odor. Provides rough surface effects when compounded in other thermoplastic polymers. When dissolved in styrene, it minimizes shrinkage during polymerization of polyester resins. Compatible with most polymers. It can be used in UV coatings and possibly in waterborne coatings.
