ALTUGLAS® BS 150N

Pure methylmethacrylate polymer in the form of insoluble spherical particles (beads) with small size and narrow size distribution. ALTUGLAS® BS 150N acts as an excellent matting, texturing, anti-scratch, anti-slip, gloss control and dispersing agent in waterborne systems and also in solvent systems under proper conditions. It works as an additive even in thermoplastic polymers. It exhibits immediate dispersion, exceptional optical quality, outstanding weather resistance, large range of solubility, very good compatibility with other thermoplastics, low residual odor, pleasant shining effect and UV resistance. Used in minimizing shrinkage during polymerization of polyester resins and dispersing in waterborne coatings to obtain specific substrate effects. In clear acrylic-based coatings, it does not alter the transparency. Also used in UV curable coatings.
