Pamolyn™ 300 Fatty Acid by Synthomer is a conjugated linoleic acid and linoleic acid-rich blend. It is derived wholly from a tall oil fatty acid source. Exhibits low odor, low unsaponifiables, fast drying and excellent surface. Also exhibits excellent color stability and low titer point. It contains 38-44% conjugated diene fatty acids which makes it more reactive when compared with natural linoleic acids of similar linoleic content. It is used for production of epoxy resin esters. Designed to use as a chemical intermediates for reactions involving conjugated unsaturation and modifiers of styrenated and other alkyds. Recommended for use in applications where dehydrated castor oil and fatty acids are used. Pamolyn™ 300 Fatty Acid is also used for commercial printing inks, paints and protective coatings.
