Durazane® 1500 slow cure by Susonity is a low-viscous, solvent-free, 100% organic, reactivity-enhanced polysilazane resin used as a coating binder. It exhibits outstanding weather-, high UV- and chemical resistance.
- It shows a good balance of heat resistance, hardness and hydrophobicity.
- Exhibits very fast curable via moisture cure at room temperature or via thermal cure.
- It has higher crosslinking density compared to Durazane® 1000 series products but lower compared to Durazane® 1500 rapid cure.
- It is applicable in scratch-resistant coatings used in the automotive interior or exterior applications.
- It is also used in corrosion prevention, water & dirt repellent coatings for architecture, consumer goods and transportation.
- It can be diluted with organic solvents such as alkanes, esters, ethers, aromates or ketones.
- Durazane® 1500 slow cure has a shelf life of 18 months.
