HEUCOSIL™ CTF by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a highly effective anti-corrosive pigment designed for coil coatings and other thin-film applications. It is a zinc-free calcium modified silica gel.
- It offers low solubility and reduced blistering & permeability.
- It also exhibits pH-stabilizing effect due to the presence of basic components.
- It is recommended for solvent-based coatings based on high solids alkyds (with low or no VOC), 2K- & high solids epoxies, and 2K- & high solids polyurethanes.
- HEUCOSIL™ CTF is also used in water-based coatings based on low or no VOC alkyd emulsions, 2K epoxies, 1K & 2K polyurethanes, silicone resins, acrylic & modified acrylics and butadiens.
- It is suitable for aircraft primers, powder coatings and UV cured systems.
