HEUCOPHOS® SAPP by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a zinc-free corrosion inhibitor. It is a high-performance pigment based on strontium aluminum polyphosphate hydrate. It exhibits high electrochemical effectiveness due to altered chemical structure design.
- It possesses higher phosphate content compared to most orthophosphates which enables excellent long-term protective behavior.
- It is used as a replacement of chromates in high-performance applications primarily in coil and aircraft primer.
- It is recommended for solvent-based coatings based on high solids alkyds & epoxies (with low or no VOC), 2K epoxies, 2K- & high solids polyurethanes, and silicone resins.
- HEUCOPHOS® SAPP is also used in water-based coatings based on alkyd emulsions, 2K epoxies, 1K & 2K polyurethanes, silicone resins, acrylic & modified acrylics and butadiens (with low or no VOC).
- It is suitable for powder coatings and UV cured systems.
