Hansa® Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70 by Sudarshan Chemical Industries is a highly opaque monoazo pigment (Pigment Yellow 74, CI 11741) with good light- & weather fastness properties. It possesses very good hiding power as an organic pigment. It shows excellent acid-, alkali- and water resistance.
  • It provides good overpainting fastness in nitrocellulose (NC) combination lacquer.
  • It is suitable to produce intense opaque yellow shades for lead-free or low-lead paints.
  • Due to its good rheological properties, it can be used even at high pigment concentrations (about 20% relative to solid binder) without any effect on gloss.
  • Hansa® Brilliant Yellow 2GX 70 is recommended for general industrial coatings, decorative paints, air-drying paints, air-drying alkyds, physically drying paints, acid cured paints, and water-based paints.
  • It is also used in highly opaque paste inks (sheetfed, silkscreen & UV curing offset) and liquid printing inks (NC alcohol, water-based, polyvinyl butyral, polyamide & UV curing flexo).
