SONGNOX® CS 2450 by Songwon is a triethylene glycol-bis-3-(3-tert-butyl-4-hydroxy-5-methylphenyl) propionate. Acts as a primary antioxidant. Protects the polymer against thermo-oxidative degradation during the manufacturing processes and in end-use applications. Has low volatility, good color stability and extraction resistant. Used in styrenics, synthetic rubbers, POM homo & copolymer, polyurethanes, polyamides, polyesters, MBS and PVC. Can be used in combination with other additives such as co-stabilizers (phosphites, phosphonite, lactones) and light stabilizers. The effectiveness of SONGNOX® CS 2450 with SONGNOX® CS 1680 is known to be remarkable. It is listed on AICS, DSL, IECSC, ENCS, NZIOC, ECL, TSCA, Switzerland and PICCS inventories.
