Siltech® C-4405 by Siltech acts as a slip-, mar resistance-, gloss-, antiblocking- and release agent. It is a very high molecular weight polydimethylsiloxane. Used in water- and solvent-based paints, inks and coatings especially leather top coats. It is listed with TSCA, DSL, AICS, IECSC, ENCS, KECI, TCSI and NZIoC inventories. It has a shelf life of 18 months at 10-40°C. Recommended dosage level of Siltech® C-4405 is 0.05-3 %wt.
