Silmer® OH C50

Silmer® OH C50 by Siltech is a reactive silicone prepolymer with tri-functional hydroxyl groups. Offers better slip, anti-blocking, mar resistance, surface smoothness, flexibility and hydrophobicity. Used to modify various polymers in order to improve their surface and physical properties. Can be co-reacted into various polymers for coatings. The hydroxyl functionality of this grade provides permanent bond into the matrix of condensation cured polymers. Silmer® OH C50 is reactive with polymers and systems containing reactive groups such as isocyanates, epoxide, carboxylic acid and esters. The recommended usage level is 1.0-3.0%. Its shelf life is 36 months from the date of manufacture. It is listed in TSCA, NDSL, AICS, IECSC, ENCS and TCSI inventories.
