Silmer® ACR Di-50

Silmer® ACR Di-50 by Siltech provides permanent slip and mar resistance to UV-curable coating systems. It offers surface smoothness, flexibility, impact resistance, hydrophobicity and anti-blocking properties. It is high molecular weight, di-functional silicone acrylate polymer. It is also used to modify acrylate polymers to improve their surface and physical properties. The acrylate functionality of this grade gives permanent binding in the matrix of the polymers. The typical recommended amount for Silmer® ACR Di-50 ranges from 2-20%. As an additive in UV curing system recommended amount is 0.1-1.5%. Its shelf life is 24 months from the date of manufacture. The product is listed in TSCA, NDSL, KECI, TCSI and NZIoC international inventories.
