PORTAFLAME® SG 200 by Sibelco Specialty Minerals is a ground halogen-free, synthetic aluminium hydroxide (ATH) filler. It also acts as a flame retardant. It offers high purity and high whiteness. It exhibits a strong smoke-suppressing ability and dirt pick-up resistance. It provides good chemical resistance compared to conventional fillers. It imparts UV resistant-, stain blocking- and stain resistant coatings. PORTAFLAME® SG 200 is used in coatings such as ETICS (External Thermal Insulation Composite Systems)/EIFS (External Insulation Finishing Systems).
