FluoroSLIP® 731-MG by Shamrock Technologies provides slip (low COF), mar/scuff-, rub-, abrasion- & block resistance, gloss, clarity and release properties. It is a combination of a high melting synthetic wax, carnauba wax and polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) where the wax blend shows a melting peaks ranging from 84-110°C. It is recommended for thin film water-based, solvent-based and UV systems at 1-2% of the total formula weight. FluoroSLIP® 731-MG is especially recommended for can coatings. This product meets the requirements of 21 CFR 175.105, 175.300, 176.170, and 176.180.
