Raybo 88 HamR by Raybo Chemical Company is a mixture of solvent naphtha, naphthalene and 1, 2, 4-trimethylbenzene. Acts as a hammer-tone finish agent. It forms hammer-tone pattern. The ease of pattern formation is dependent on viscosity and dry time. It is effective for masking substrate imperfections and for obtaining decorative finishes. Raybo 88 HamR is suitable for solvent borne coatings. The typical use levels are 0.5-1% of the total paint. It complies with following regulations: OSHA regulations, CERCLA and SARA 313.
