JADEWIN BP-1 by Qingdao Jade New Material Technology is a 2,4-dihydroxybenzophenone. Acts as a ultraviolet (UV) light absorber (280 – 320 nm range). Offers prevention of yellowing and improvement of optical and mechanical properties (transparent extruded sheet). Provides improvement of fastness to weathering and retardation of aging. Compatible with polymers such as alkyd & phenolic resins, polymethacrylates (PMMA), polystyrene (PS) and epoxy resin/unsaturated polyesters. Soluble in common organic solvents. JADEWIN BP-1 is used in fluorescent paints for road marking and traffic signs. Listed in AICS, DSL, EINECS, IECSC, ENCS, ECL, TSCA and PICCS.
