FASCAT® 4101 by PMC Group is an amorphous, hydrolytically stable monobutylchlorotin dihydroxide grade. It exhibits esterification, polycondensation and transesterification. This catalyst is used in the synthesis of saturated polyester resins for powder coatings. It offers less esterification times, transesterification cycle time, lower reaction temperatures and efficient use of equipment. It is recommended for production of unsaturated polyester resins for gel coat, sheet molding and cast molding applications. FASCAT® 4101 is soluble in several solvents such as NaOH and extremely pure with low levels of DBT and TBT contamination.
