Teracure® HP-47

Teracure® HP-47 by Pflaumer Brothers is a water-dispersible aliphatic polyisocyanate hardener designed for high-performance two-component (2K) waterborne polyurethane coatings. It provides long-term durability, formulation flexibility and the environmental advantages of a waterborne system.

• It combines broad solvent compatibility with exceptional mechanical-, chemical- and UV resistance.
• It enables the creation of high-gloss coatings that can withstand abrasion, weather, and harsh chemical environments.
• It is compatible with hydroxyl-functional polyols.
• Formulations based on it with higher NCO:OH ratios, typically above 1.0, increase crosslink density and deliver higher hardness, improved chemical and solvent resistance, and enhanced toughness.
• It can be used with additives such as catalysts, wetting agents, dispersants, matting agents, UV stabilizers, co-solvents and adhesion promoters to optimize performance.
• It is used in high-gloss wood coatings, chemical-resistant concrete floor finishes and tough exterior coatings for metal, composite or plastic substrates.
• It is also suitable for heavy-duty floor coatings, clear topcoats and high-traffic surfaces.
