Tallicin® 4200 by Pflaumer Brothers acts as a flow and leveling agent. It is a versatile surfactant for high solids systems. It reduces the surface tension and provides effective flow, leveling and bubble release. It is compatible with a variety of vehicles, including airdry and baking enamels, urethanes, vinyls, nitrocellulose, and polyesters.
- It prevents pinholes, fisheyes, flooding and floating in solvent-based coating formulations and decreases the porosity.
- It helps to provide a smooth, even surface to the cured resin system, minimizing craters and orange peel.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.2% to 0.7% based on total weight of paint and 0.2% to 0.5% as a bubble release agent.
