EXOdis PC418 by PCC Exol is a non-ionic surfactant with very good dispersing and wetting properties. It constitutes a neutralized form of EXOdis PC417 as an alkanolamine salt. Its structure contains so-called anchor groups with strong affinity for the surface of organic pigments, carbon black and soot. It prevents pigment sedimentation and ensures low viscosity & excellent stability of pigment concentrates.
- It increases the coloring strength of the concentrate and provides excellent pigment compatibility in finished dye products.
- It is a safe, ecological, nano-material- and alkylphenol ethoxylates free grade with very low VOC & SVOC content.
- It shows very good compatibility with inorganic pigments, mineral fillers, rheology modifiers and anti-foaming agents.
- EXOdis PC418 is used in the production of water-thinnable paints and varnishes.
- It is not classified according to CLP/GHS regulations.
- The recommended dosage level is 5–25% of the active substance per pigment mass in pigment concentrates, and 0.1–1% in the finished dye product.
