EXOdis PC230 by PCC Exol is an anionic surfactant with very good dispersing and wetting properties. It is used to obtain colorants with a high pigment concentration. It exhibits a strong affinity for inorganic pigments and fillers, especially titanium white and iron oxide-based pigments.
- It allows efficient deflocculation and makes the mixture less viscous, which increases the dispersion efficiency and favourably affects application properties, final color and compatibility of the end product.
- It ensures excellent stability of the pigment, protecting it against excessive delamination, or uncontrolled increase of viscosity.
- EXOdis PC230 is used in paint and varnish formulations based on organic solvents, especially medium- to high-polarity systems such as epoxy, polyurethane or polyurea paints.
- It is suitable for polyol-based pigment concentrates used for dyeing.
- It is nano-material free, non-animal tested, and complies with ADR/RID regulations.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.3-3.0% in a ready-to-use paint formulation and 1.0-10.0% in pigment concentrates.
