PropylTex® 270S-1518 by Micro Powders is a tough, micronized polypropylene for reducing gloss and adding consistent surface texture and structure. It is a high molecular weight PP that gives good durability and is suitable for anti-skid surfaces. Offers improved burnish resistance vs. silica and does not lowers COF. It adds texture in low bake (Low E) powder coatings. Applicable in water-based, solvent-based, industrial (including metal, plastics and masonry), stains, sealers & varnishes, wood, floor coatings, architectural wall and trim paints. PropylTex® 270S-1518 has an additional level of 2.0-5.0% depending on the level of gloss reduction desired.
