PropylTex® 230S-3034

PropylTex® 230S-3034 by Micro Powders is a tough, medium particle size, micronized polypropylene. Provides gloss reduction with improved burnish resistance vs. silica and adds a medium texture effect to the coating surface. It does not lower COF and is suitable for anti-skid surfaces. It is a high molecular weight PP that gives good durability and adds texture in low bake (Low E) powder coatings. PropylTex® 230S-3034 finds application in water-based, solvent-based, industrial (including metal, plastics and masonry), stains, sealers & varnishes, wood, floor coatings, architectural wall and trim paints. Recommended additional level of 2.0-5.0% depending on the level of gloss reduction desired.
