Liquid Hindered Amine Light Stabilizer (HALS). BLS® 292HP by Mayzo provides very good light stability to variety of coating systems, including waterborne and UV curable coatings, and long term stability to a variety of polymeric systems. Blends easily and disperses completely resulting in lower loading requirements, and eliminates the particle dispersion problems associated with traditional powder HALS. Exhibits low volatility, and very good compatibility with a variety of coating systems. Provides good miscibility, and high effectiveness in heavily pigmented systems. Gives synergistic performance with other light stabilizers (coatings) and antioxidants (plastics). BLS® 292HP extends life time of coatings by minimizing defects such as loss of gloss and cracking. Offers very good protection against ultravoilet degradation. Used in applications like coil coatings, automotive coatings, industrial coatings, radiation curable coatings, paints, inks and wood stains.
