Doresco® VMS 7503 by Lubrizol is a specially modified acrylic resin especially designed for HVM on paper. It is recommended as pre-metallization varnish (about 2 g/m2) and post-metallization lacquer (around 1 g/m2). It possesses high gloss, excellent ink retention, and good adhesion to vacuum metallized paper & oxidized aluminum. It exhibits high permeability to alkali, short wash off time of the labels, excellent flexibility on cold embossing, and excellent rub resistance. Doresco® VMS 7503 is suitable for recyclable beer labels printed with solvent-based gravure inks and offset inks. It can be stored for 1 year.
