LAVIOTHIX® P100 by Laviosa Minerals is an activated, white bentonite clay with 98% montmorillonite content. It acts as a rheology modifier and an antisettling agent for waterborne systems. It exhibits high performance, efficiency, great pseudoplastic behavior and thixotropy. Offers stability, adhesion and viscosity control. Provides enhanced texturing and stippling effects. It can be incorporated as powder or as an aqueous pre-gel at 3 - 4 %wt. Shows gel formation properties at low or high shear. Suitable for use in emulsion paints, bituminous emulsion and latex paints. LAVIOTHIX® P100 has a shelf life of 12 months. The dosage level are 0.3 - 3.0% by weight.
