Preventol® MP 400-D by LANXESS is a VOC-free, dry film preservative based on 3-iodo-2-propynyl butylcarbamate (IPBC). It offers fungal protection in inks, paints, wood stains as well as paper-, plastic- and textile coatings. It is compatible with high-density polyethylene (HDPE). Recommended dosage level for dry film paints & coatings is 0.25-1.25%, for plastic coatings is 0.125-2.5%, for paper coatings is 0.05-1.88% and for textile coatings & inks is 0.125-1.25%. The shelf life of Preventol® MP 400-D is 12 months.
