BAYFERROX® 180 NM

Supplied byLANXESS- Last Updated on Dec 1, 2021

Micronized, bluish iron oxide red pigment. It is a high performance pigment and fulfills the higher requirements necessary in the paint as well as coating industry. Displays excellent dissolver dispersibility. As a result of the manufacturing process (Laux-process), which includes a high temperature calcining step, the pigment has a higher intrinsic hardness than other precipitated pigments. It is very resistant to color change during high energy dispersion processes. The high temperatures involved in the calcining process also give the pigment outstanding heat stability. Used in automotive coating, coil coating, corrosion protection, decorative paints, emulsion paints, floorings, industrial coating, plastic coating, powder coating, roof tile coating and wood coating.
