SpeedCure TPO

Supplied byLambson (Sartomer)- Last Updated on Jun 2, 2020

SpeedCure TPO by Lambson (Sartomer) is a low yellowing 2,4,6-trimethylbenzoyldiphenylphosphine oxide. Acts as an extremely efficient Type I homolytic photoinitiator. Is a thermally stable grade offering reduced discoloration and long shelf life. It absorbs UV light at longer wavelengths to undergo bond cleavage providing very reactive radicals (379 nm) and undergoes a ‘photo-bleaching’ reaction that allows the effective curing of thick films. Adding an amine such as Speedcure EDB or EHA reduces oxygen inhibition. Thioxanthones can act as sensitizers for this product. It is a pale yellow colored crystalline powder. SpeedCure TPO is suitable for wood coatings and pigmented printing inks.
