VISCOLAM® 698 by Lamberti is an APEO free, VOC free, cost-effective thickener and rheology modifier based on hydrophobically modified alkaly swellable emulsion (HASE). It offers strong thickening efficiency, good sag resistance, good anti-settling properties and in-can storage stability.
- It provides a more shear-thinning rheological profile with respect to natural thickeners (e.g. cellulose or guar gum ethers).
- It is used in interior and exterior waterborne paints.
- The recommended dosage level is 0.1 to 1.0% of total composition.
- VISCOLAM® 698 has a shelf life of 18 months.
