ESACOTE® UA 7023 by Lamberti is a solvent-free, anionic, self-crosslinking aliphatic copolymer dispersion based on polycarbonate polyurethane and acrylic esters. It is used as a binder in clear and pigmented coatings. It provides quick drying, good balance of elasticity & hardness, high gloss & clarity, and good mechanical-, stain & chemical resistance (also in 1K application).
- It is suitable for wood coatings for cabinets and furniture formulations.
- It is used as an anti-scratch OPV varnish for plastic films, and as a protective coating 1K for aluminum.
- It forms hard, transparent & glossy film and allows good film formation when combined with a small percentage of glycols.
- It can also be combined with water dispersible polyisocyanates, polyaziridines or carbodiimides crosslinkers to enhance the overall properties.
- ESACOTE® UA 7023 has a shelf life of 12 months.
