Mowital® B 14 S

Mowital® B 14 S by Kuraray is a low viscosity, light resistant polyvinyl butyral (PVB) available as fine grained, free flowing white powder. Acts as a wetting agent, adhesion promoter and corrosion inhibitor. Compatible with plasticizers and can be crosslinked with other reactive polymers such as phenol, epoxy and melamine resins. Provides good dimensional stability and decomposes cleanly during sintering. It is soluble in a wide range of organic solvents & mixtures and insoluble in water. Suitable for the manufacture of pigment concentrates and preparations. Mowital® B 14 S is designed for primers, varnishes, powder coatings, flexographic and gravure printing inks. Complies with EU Directives 67/548/EEC and 1999/45/EEC.
