KEPER -231 by Kito Chemical is an isothiazolinone. It acts as a bactericidal agent. It offers protection against microorganisms like bacteria, mold and saccharomyces. It is formaldehyde & phenol free and is an environmental-friendly grade. It also offers broad-spectrum sterilization and good storage stability. KEPER -231 is recommended for water-based coatings, complex emulsion and varnish applications. The dosage level of the grade as a preservative is 0.01-0.05% and as a bactericidal agent is 0.05-0.1%.
