K-Stay® 555

K-Stay® 555 by King Industries acts as a rheological modifier. It is a brown liquid thixotrope for pigmented solventborne applications. It is highly efficient requiring low dosage levels to improve pigment suspension and sag control. It provides excellent sag resistance, elimination of hard settling, excellent performance in polar formulations, and enhancement of thermal sag control. It offers high gloss and gloss retention. It is compatible with acrylics, alkyds, polyesters and epoxies. K-Stay® 555 has applications in solvent-borne and high solids coatings. It is used in air dry alkyds, 2K PU, primers, general industrial maintenance and heavy duty paints.
