K-FLEX® 171-90 by King Industries is a chain extended polyester polyol containing primary hydroxyl groups. Used as a modifier for acrylic, alkyd, epoxy and polyester formulations. Offers narrow molecular weight distribution, high reactivity and fast cure with melamine and isocyanate crosslinkers. Gives very good pot life with isocyanate and amino crosslinkers, good flow and leveling, low isocyanate demand, very good compatibility with 2K urethane applications, and good adhesion particularly to plastic substrates. K-FLEX® 171-90 recommended usage level is 5-15% on standard resin.
