ARBOCEL® Alginate 125 by JRS Rettenmaier acts as a rheology modifier. The sodium alginate is a creamy-white to yellow powder with brown algae as the basic raw material. It can produce temperature stable and transparent films with oil barrier. It can react with Ca-ions to form strong gels. It has excellent water control properties. ARBOCEL® Alginate 125 is suitable for use in protective coatings applications. The recommended shelf life of the grade is 12 months.
