Hydrite® RS-A by Imerys acts as a filler. It is a spray dried, acidic pH and fine particle size hydrous kaolin. It exhibits chemical inertness, and offers improved spacing of TiO2 particles in a paint film and improved opacity. It is a naturally occurring hydrated aluminum silicate with lamellar or platy particle shape. Hydrite® RS-A is recommended for water-based coatings, flexographic inks and offset inks.
