Omnivadd SP 4009 by IGM Resins is a multi-purpose high molecular weight wetting and dispersing additive for solvent-based coatings.
  • It prevents reflocculation of pigments through steric hindrance and stabilizes the color strength & hue of pigments in paints.
  • It reduces the time required for the grinding process and improves gloss and leveling.
  • It is suitable for use in universal solvent-based pigment concentrates, particularly where cost-effective performance is vital.
  • It is used in industrial coatings based on acrylic/isocyanate, polyester/isocyanate and epoxy/polyamine, coatings based on acrylic/melamine and polyester/melamine, resin-containing pigment concentrates with inorganic and organic pigments & carbon blacks and wood & furniture coatings based on polyester/isocyanate, acrylic/isocyanate and unsaturated polyesters.
  • It is applicable for metal, plastic coatings, decorative paints and electronics industry.
  • The dosage level of the grade is 10% of oil absorption value for inorganic pigments, 30-50% of BET value for organic pigments and 15-25% of DBP value for carbon blacks.
  • Omnivadd SP 4009 has a shelf life of 5 years.
