Omnirad MBF by IGM Resins is a highly efficient, type II photoinitiator used to initiate radical polymerization of unsaturated oligomers such as acrylates, after exposure to UV light.
- It forms free radicals through an intramolecular hydrogen abstraction process.
- It can be used in combination with mono or multi-functional monomers as reactive diluents.
- It is applicable for clear, white, pigmented and water-based systems.
- It is designed for UV radiation curing system.
- It is suitable for surface cure and used in paper, wood, metal & plastic coatings & inks.
- The recommended addition level is 0.5-5% by weight of total formulation.
- Omnirad MBF has a shelf life of 24 months.
