ETHOCEL™ Standard 200

ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 by IFF's Nutrition & Biosciences is a versatile, organosoluble, ethylcellulose polymer. Used for coating, film forming, binding, and enhancing the performance of many different products such as industrial coatings and as binder in conventional solvent-borne ink systems. Provides toughness, inertness, and fabrication and product versatility. Offers compatibility with plasticizers, waxes, oils, and other resins. Gives abrasion resistance, dimensional and heat stability, low ash content, coating strength, water resistance, high gloss, and solvent resistance without adding color, odor, or taste. ETHOCEL™ Standard 200 is used in fabric coatings, strippable coatings, paper coatings, gel lacquers for generator field coils and glass bottles, printing inks, heat transfer or hot melt ink systems.
