Cardura™ E10P Glycidyl Ester by Hexion is a synthetic, saturated, highly branched, monocarboxylic glycidyl ester. It contains epoxide group and used as a reactive diluent and acid scavenger.
- It exhibits excellent acid-, crystallization- & chemical resistance, good substrate wetting, improved flow and solubility.
- It also exhibits good UV stability, low VOC, mild odor and low viscosity.
- It shows excellent compatibility with polar solvent, improved gloss, excellent pigment utilization and excellent outdoor durability.
- It enables the production of (ultra) high solids polymers and is highly reactive towards amines, acids and alcohols.
- It provides fast drying, high performance topcoats at minimum thickness.
- Cardura™ E10P Glycidyl Ester is suitable for use in automotive-, transportation-, protective-, coil- and flooring coatings.
- Also suitable for water- and solvent borne alkyds.
- It has a shelf life of 3 years.
