Hauthane HD-6000

Polyester-based, hydroxyl-functional, aliphatic, waterborne polyurethane dispersion. Contains n-methyl pyrrolidone co-solvent. Possesses excellent exterior weathering durability and humidity resistance. HD-6000 was developed for use with water-dispersible, isocyanate crosslinkers such as Bayer’s Bayhydur 302 or Rhodia’s Rhodocoat WT-2102. This product exhibits superior chemical resistance, while maintaining excellent flexibility and gloss retention characteristics. The workable potlife is approximately 3 hours at the suggested crosslinker ratio of 2.0 to 1.0 NCO/OH. The product, when crosslinked provides tough, chemical resistant, glossy coatings which may be applied to a variety of substrates including concrete, metals, plastics and wood materials.
