SIOResin® WRS-1002 by Guangzhou SIO New Material is a water-based, intumescent, fire proof silicone resin which delivers exceptional expansion and clarity.
- It provides exceptional flame resistance, non-combustibility, and the ability to crosslink with specific resins at room temperature.
- It forms a transparent gel that carbonizes and expands under heat, creating a fireproof, heat-insulating barrier by isolating oxygen and heat from the substrate.
- SIOResin® WRS-1002 is an insulator, environmentally friendly, complies with indoor environmental standards, and ideal for formulating fire-retardant coatings and paints.
- It has low viscosity and high solid content.
- It provides a B1 fire resistance rating in wood coatings, ensuring improved safety and durability for various applications.
- It has a shelf life of 12 months.
