SIOResin® 1473 by Guangzhou SIO New Material is a waterborne silicone-based defoamer. It offers good and rapid defoaming, long-lasting foam suppression performance and excellent system compatibility. It is suitable for acrylic emulsion system, polyurethane (PU) dispersions, and water-based clear and color paint formulations. It should be dispersed evenly to avoid defects like fisheye or shrinkage cavities. SIOResin® 1473 is used in water-based industrial coatings, wood & furniture paints, and printing inks & overprint varnishes. The recommended dosage is 0.1-0.5%. It has a shelf life of 12 months.
