SIPERNAT® 898 by Evonik is a precipitated synthetic sodium aluminosilicate. It is a versatile, cost-effective titanium dioxide extender for paints and coatings
applications. It provides very good dry opacity, washability and scrub resistance and improved gloss reduction.
- It is used in high PVC architectural interior paints, high-hiding wall primers, and DIY paints that can be applied by brush, spray, or roller.
- It is also suitable for low-sheen premium quality wall paints, as well as breathable façade and concrete coatings.
- It is suitable for solventborne, waterborne and direct grind.
- Recommended dosage level is 0.5-5%.
- SIPERNAT® 898 has a shelf life of 2 years.
