POLYCAT® 142 by Evonik acts as a low-emissive amine co-catalyst. Due to its chemical structure, it can react into the foam, significantly reducing off-gassing over time and amine related odor. It offers reduced emissions and promote fine cell structure. When it is used in combination with a catalyst such as Polycat® 140 or Polycat® 31, it effectively improves the water- isocyanate blowing reaction. POLYCAT® 142 is used in water blown, low density spray polyurethane foams applications.
