Carbowet® 300 by Evonik is a non-ionic, non-APE wetting agent. It acts as a multifunctional, solvent-free additive for pigment and substrate wetting, specifically for hydrophobic materials leading to rapid incorporation of dry pigments.
- It is a cost-effective surfactant and can provide substrate and pigment stabilization and emulsification in a wide range of applications and polymer systems.
- Offers improved dispersion, viscosity stability in resinated pigment dispersions and foam control.
- Carbowet® 300 is readily biodegradable, releases zero VOC in US and Europe and hence it is environmentally preferable alternative to alkyl phenol ethoxylates and other surfactants and therefore provides color stability in printing inks and coatings.
- It exhibits excellent surface tension reduction.
