Carbowet® 144 by Evonik is a non-ionic surfactant. It acts as a low-foaming, solvent-free and alkyl phenol ethoxylate-free additive for pigment and substrate wetting.
- It exhibits excellent surface tension reduction characteristics, improves freeze-thaw stability of acrylic systems and is also excellent oil in water emulsifier.
- It is used alone or in combination with an anionic surfactant.
- It is a cost-effective surfactant which is a low odor, waxy solid at room temperature and environmentally biodegradable.
- It is used in architectural and industrial coatings, pigment synthesis, dispersion and in inks.
