Carbowet® 106

Carbowet® 106 is a non-ionic wetting agent by Evonik. This surfactant acts as a multifunctional, low-foaming, solvent-free and alkyl phenol ethoxylate-free additive for pigment and substrate wetting. Exhibits excellent surface tension reduction. Provides rapid substrate, pigment wetting and performs in a wide range of applications. Is a clear, low odor, low viscosity easy to handle liquid that is 100% active and features excellent ease of use. It is environmentally preferable alternative to alkyl phenol ethoxylates having approximately 6 moles of ethylene oxide. It is completely soluble in water—not prone to gel formation, cost-effective and readily biodegradable. Carbowet® 106 is used in architectural coatings, industrial coatings, pigment synthesis and dispersion as well as in inks.
